The Governor of Anbar Conducts a Field Visit to Monitor Work on the Nazim al-Warar Canal.
The governor of Anbar, Engineer Omar Mishaan Dabous, conducted a field tour in the city of Ramadi to monitor the excavation work on the Nazim al-Warar Canal, which is intended to ensure the flow of water toward Lake Habbaniyah. He was accompanied by the directors of Water Resources, the Ramadi Dam, and the Maintenance of Irrigation and Drainage Projects.
The governor reviewed the progress of the work and directed that the necessary equipment be secured to address the seepage at the Falujah Dam’s headgate, in anticipation of expected water discharge, with the Directorate of Irrigation and Drainage Project Maintenance responsible for carrying out the work in accordance with technical specifications.
The governor emphasized the importance of improving readiness and maintaining the efficiency of water infrastructure to ensure effective management of water releases during the coming period.
