The Governor of Anbar Presides Over a Ceremony to Honor Local Organizations and Volunteer Groups.
Under the patronage of Anbar Governor Engineer Omar Mash'an Dabous, the Department of Organizational Affairs at the Governorate Office held an awards ceremony to honor local organizations and volunteer groups, in recognition of their exceptional efforts and active role in serving the community. The event was attended by a number of members of the Anbar Provincial Council.
In his remarks, the governor praised the humanitarian initiatives undertaken by these organizations and volunteer teams, emphasizing that volunteer work is not a marginal effort but rather a pillar of stability, and that local organizations are not merely supporting entities but active partners in building the present and shaping the future.
He said, “We in the local government view you as a true extension of our project to rebuild Anbar—not a government project, but a community project that embraces every sincere initiative, every dedicated effort, and every idea that contributes to serving our people.”
The governor of Anbar emphasized the importance of supporting and empowering volunteer organizations and groups, as they are essential partners in achieving community stability, and stressed that the local government will continue to support these efforts, which project a positive and bright image of Anbar Province.
